The inspiration and starting point for one of my GCSE Art coursework projects was Alexander McQueen’s SS’10 collection, Plato’s Atlantis.
I visited the McQueen ‘Savage Beauty’ exhibition at the V&A Museum in London for further research and ideas, which I was amazed by.
My topic was ‘Scales’, and I was inspired by the symmetrical patterns and shapes, and digital elements of his designs. I experimented with different media and sources to work towards a final piece.
These photos show the journey of my ideas.
